Walking along the tidal zone of the bay @ Raglan on the North Island of New Zealand. I remember it as being super windy with a ton of Kite surfers out... but looking at the wind sock makes me think something is askew.
Not even three years ago and it might as well be a million.
This was about the coolest grass strip airport I've ever seen. If you click on the picture you might be able to make out the plane.
It was flat ... so flat ... that we did what all traveling surfers do ... made the best of the moment.
